That's cool - I'm glad we'll get to hear both versions.

Got to say, I well prefer the final mix of Z2, especially in Dark Matters, there's so much texture that's missing from this its a total shame.

You'd think whoever leaked the thing would have ripped it at 320 bps and eliminated the 2 second gaps between the songs, which also hampers the leak. But this is great for anticipation of all my pre-orders. I can't wait even mores than before. I actually still have the leak of the first Ziltoid album, where the narration is different in places. I actually saw the actual packaging now on Century Media's webpage. The design is fantastic. - T

PS - I'll keep my eyes out for a 320 rip once the Aussie clinics start!

Ha ha, did anyone notice the reference towards CoC at the very end of Dimension Z? I won't be too specific because I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I though that was a neat little tie-in.

I'm liking a lot of bits of this, but I can't wait to hear it in a good bitrate with no errors between the tracks in the final mix (with no narration!)

Really not sure about Annie singing Fallout, though. That's one of my immediate favorite tracks, but a large part of it is Dev's vocals. I'm a little hesitant about that.

Universal Choir is wonderful, though. Even in 192. Cannot wait.

Once again I´m wondering who leaked this.

I got the digital promo 1½ months ago and it´s watermarked. It is a 192kbps version and you really cant´t tell what´s going on, sounds very bad.

Three weeks ago they sent me the cd-promo. Huge huge improvement soundwise, even though it´s not the final mix. This is also of course watermarked.

Now Dev says that the leaked version is the unfinished product. But this is definitely not the promo that I´ve been listening to. For example the beginning of Silent Militia is different.

A third version? Where did this come from?

Yeah, there's so many layers and so much going on in the mix that at 192kpbs (and that's assuming it's not a transcode) it just ends up sounding kind of mushy. Still, it's good enough to tide me over for a couple of weeks until my pre-order arrives.

Oh man, just you wait. It's just beyond words.

You're sure this leak isn't the Century Media promo copy? I got my copy on Monday. That'dsthe only version I've heard so far and it has Devin singing Fallout.

I don't think the final mix is on any promos.

Love both discs. Dark Matters is huge.
