Whoa, this is so heavy! And unbelievably cheesy!

I ordered the Blue Vinyl + T-Shirt pack from the NA store...I'm hoping that it comes with the CDs as well since I'd like to load the records up on my iPod. The blue vinyl by itself says it includes the CDs, but the combo pack did not say anything about it. Stoked that I got my blue vinyl order in while it was available regardless!

So... anyone have any idea what this is on Amazon?

http://www.amazon.com/Z-Devin-Townsend-Project/dp/B00NIR8F90/ref=sr_1_2_title_0_main?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1412447770&sr=1-2&keywords=devin+townsend+z2

It says it's a 6 disk boxset... O_O $50, seems like a pretty sweet deal in comparison to what else I've seen (the NA Omerch vinyl which is already sold out (fuckin' gr) and the CMDistro vinyl which is flippin' $72 with shipping). I haven't seen this anywhere else though, which makes me nervous as to if it's accurate.

Any clues?

If I had to guess, I would say it is just miss-worded. It is probably just the standard black 4 LP with the 2 CD set that everyone seems to be offering, 4 + 2= 6.

The CM Distro vinyl is only $38 before shipping if you don't get the keychain:

Personally I wouldn't trust the amazon orders. Those listings have been up for months.. Way before Europe's orders were even available. It's like they were dead links before, activated when they had the orders.

Plus I've bought a few pre-orders from them before, including the first Ziltoid album and I never got the extras promised. :/ I'd stick with the direct sources.

Sounds like Dev and Guns and Roses had a baby. Not a bad thing

Maybe it's just that it's not exactly what I'm up for nowadays, but as of now, I'm not really feeling it. It just didn't do anything for me.
Just like 'Universal Flame', the only thing I'm getting is catchy beat. Maybe it'll grow on me later.

Again, maybe context is everything, and it'll be better with the whole album. So long as I've got Casualties to listen to, I'm not really complaining. :)

Deathray sounds a bit like More from Epicloud.

Deathray is pretty cool ! It is a good mix between Epicloud and Ziltoid 1.

I'm wondering what Sky Blue will look like.

I like this song a lot! Quite a bit more than Universal Flame. I've also decided that I can't listen to anymore snippets from the album until I have it in my hands. It's too stressful. :P

I love the, uh, psuedo-dubstep wubblies in the chorus. I know Dev mentioned that at one point he got into stuff like Deadmau5 and Skrillex and other variety of electronica, so I guess it'd end up on the Zed Squared. Whatever, it's got a nice groove and I dig the lyric video.

Although...is it just me or is the mix flat? Didn't Dev say that Deathray was one of the (no pun intended) casualties of the problematic masters that were sent out for promo purposes?
