I hope it doesn't... But Dev has so many projects on the go, and some always end up getting sidelined.

I was just reading through the discography notes on the new website and came to the new black and dev wrote "I had to leave casualties behind and that was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make" I dunno why, but that made me feel like "casualties behind" would make an awesome album name, given that he doesn't like casualties of cool much anymore. just a thought.

Yep, I think it'll be like a mix of Ghost 2 and Ki tone-wise and I'm very excited by this project - far moreso than Z2.

Casualties is something that I've been looking forward to and hoping that he would make ever since Ki. I feel that Ki was the tentative foray into blues stuff, and it was only a matter of time before it would come up again. It will probably be as alienating to the Epicloud fans as Epicloud was to people like me, but that's the way Devin has always worked, swinging from one side to the other.

And I say it again, it's almost like there's a DTP II being born.

Ki = Casualties of Cool
Addicted = Epicloud
Decon = Z2
Ghost = Ambient record Dev has mentioned here and there.

I thought the exact same thing a while back, except:

Still clinging onto the hope that Ghost 2 will come out in some form or another! Sounded like it was gonna be up there with my all-time favourite Devy records. Still, CoC sounds in a similar vein so that should quench my thirst a little! Can't wait for this.

And given Dev has said that he would like revisit more tracks from Physicist, anyone think it may be possible it will happen on Casualties and Z2? I could definitely go for Ziltoid mucking around in the mud from some "Planet Rain". >:D

Hmm, I read an interview not long ago where he said he would enjoy doing a remake of Victim. I wish I could remember when or where.
