But it's not unreasonable to think such a statement provokes further discussion, so it's pre-emptive carpet bombing.

Not sure if this counts as a spoiler, but just read this on Wikipedia:

Devin wanted to have an exclusive track for the vinyl. He tweeted about it.

That figures, but still, it bugs me when that happens. I feel like I'm missing out because I don't have a record player.

Judging by the track listings on pre-orders so far, it's just the regular version with a bonus track. Glad I'm not the only one who swore they heard somewhere that the vinyl was going to include the bonus tracks of the 2CD version.

I do kinda dislike that there are three versions of this album, and that two of them have exclusive bonus tracks

Since I have nothing to play it with, I'm not gonna buy the vinyl just for that one track, but still. It's gonna kinda suck to know that I won't technically own the whole album.

Ah well. It isn't a huge deal, I suppose.

oh well. Japan usually gets exclusive bonus tracks too and the rest of the world doesn't. At some point you just accept it and quit being angry at it, heh There ain't much else you can do!

Every single bonus track- no matter what medium it's originally released on, will be on Youtube within
days of it's release. (Probably sooner).

Well sure, it'll be on Youtube. There'll be a hundred downloads for the track in the first few weeks.

But that's not really what I want. Like, I own the standard edition of Contain Us - I skipped out on the vinyl since I have nothing to play it on, and just downloaded Dinosaurs/AZR. But I kinda dislike that I did that, since I don't really own all of the boxset or those tracks at all. I dunno, maybe it's a bit of OCD.

It's the same thing with the track Epicloud, though. I can download it, and I'll have the other twenty-some tracks from the album to go with it, but it'll feel like an odd one out to me since I don't actually own that one.

It's probably just ocd

I didn't take it as an insult - you're right. It's just my collector's mentality having a vent.
