What do you mean by "new kingdom" ? Are you talking aboot the live versions with his new operatic vocals or did I miss something somewhere while I was pooping ?!
He did say that Anneke was going to be a part of Epicloud but that was a while ago. I didn't 'hear' Dev talk aboot it recently. It be wicked though.
He did tweet aboot Ryan being the drummer for The record.
My bet is that he's going to sing, play guitars AND bass, keyboards and ambiances (shared with the young Dave).
Same touring band as the DTP.

Holycrap i'm writting this while pooing at my job.
Paid to read aboot Devy ! Wicked !

Yeah, the revamped live version of Kingdom. Do note that all I say is purely based on speculation. :)

But Devin did say himself that he's going to feature the 'new' Kingdom on Epicloud, so speculaas ( ;) ) or not, it's still true. :)

Dev definitely said that Kingdom is gonna be on the album.

He also said somewhere that this is the first record where he's felt comfortable and confident enough with the material that the material is gonna cover all the basses, from dancy pop stuff to sick nasty metal stuff to ambience and etc.

""I'm doing this record called 'Epicloud,'" Townsend says. "Over the course of the full record, there's sort of new agey stuff, jazzy stuff, really heavy stuff. We basically cover the gamut. "'Epicloud' is the first record that I felt confident enough to include all those things on one record so it goes between melodic hard rock to schizophrenic heavy metal to country to really ambient stuff and it's all in one place. "I'm using a gospel choir, a string section and a horn section for this one as well," he says. "On 'Deconstruction,' I got to use the Prague Philharmonic and really go far into making an absurd album as over the top as possible and on 'Epicloud' I'm trying to take the same advantages to make some things musically very pleasing, as opposed to just claustrophobic.""

Sounds incredible. :)

There we go :D This album's gonna be a ride, I'm stoked for it!

Cool.

I do wish it wasn't under the DTP moniker, since I feel like that takes away from the Project a bit. But I agree about the logo wholeheartedly :p

Can't wait to see how this whole thing turns out.

You could always replace "project" with something else that begins with "p". Like, Devin Townsend Poop. 8)

Do you know what poop is?

This is what Dev tweeted to me this morning regarding how Epicloud compares to Addicted

@klnesta Heavier, but way more poppy, less electronic, more epic, full gospel choir, Anneke, more melancholy, pounding

So I'm already pretty excited about what this is going to sound like
