The lack of news on this album upsets me deeply. Nearly as much as the fact that I completely forgot to steal Moonshine off one of the lucky pricks who got the VIP in Landan... Y'all owe it to me for giving ye the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at whatever debilitating lung-collapsing sickness it was that I gave ye! GIMMEGIMMEGIMME!!

I get the feeling Devin is going to lose interest with this album. He has so much other stuff going on already.

I hope not. He knows there's a demand for it, so it's not likely he'll just let it slip into the ether.
I must be in a positive mood today.

I hope he's just taking the time to make the release as best as possible (as he always does), cause I'm really looking forward to it. I'll admit, I want as soon as I can get it, but I know the wait is gonna make it that much sweeter. If it never sees the light of day, I'm gonna be pretty bummed.

I hope to god it sees the light of day. Not hearing it would seriously bum me out...

Considering he always mentions it as a project, I think you guys will see the stuff from here at one point in one form or another. It may just be a labor of love later on.

How many of those flash drives were given out? It's weird that Moonshine/Saloon was never leaked.

300 wer made, 293 wer given out (7 got lost in transport)

i think what with the DVD work hes been mixing over xmas, and touring like a mad thing...AND also writing ziltoid 2.. he may have shelved it for a minute - but its not like him to leave it unfinished.

like hes been saying alot in his interviews, music cant be rushed and if he doesnt feel like it, its better to leave it until you do feel like writing something true to the album, than forcing something which wont have the same effect.

there are fragments of the ghost 2 album all over the place - including youtubes n stuff - so its just a matter of compiling it yourself. perhaps like ghosts... the album may never exist.. or will it?!

or could just be 'difficult second album syndrome but any of the above reasons.... either way, were being spoilt to death by The Dev at the moment, so best not hassle him.

It's different, hard to compare. Don't know when it can be released anymore, it's a little political.

Balls to it anyway. Maybe the remaining songs will start showing up individually here and there if the album never sees the light of day...

tall-latte, i think you're a bit misinformed... as far as everything i've read, he's currently writing epicloud, not Z2. and ghost 2 is already completely written and recorded; it's just a matter of releasing it (and possibly mastering it but not sure). and yes MOST of the songs have already been released in some form or another, but i think we are all looking for the remaining songs we've yet to hear as well as have a physical album to purchase.

it seems to me that he would've just released it somewhere between decon/ghost & contain us but instead, the record company held it up to spread out the releases and then they also pushed for the couple of ghost 2 tracks to be on contain us so they can have dinosaurs & ziltoidian rapture on a 7" so they can make more money. seems counterintuitive to me, but i bet what happened was something along those lines.

i guess i am... but then ive read many interviews with the dev recently, so it all depends on what you read these days. sorry for being inaccurate. as for forth coming dev albums, i will glad absorb whatever the hell he puts out.. epicloud, z2, ghost2... its all gravy baby.
