my vote goes for ghost 2, because from what ive heard of the album so far its VERY diverse, just listen to the perspective vid update and "watch you"
but the lyrics are what REALLY make me think its coming home

Holy shit...this video is awesome, and the song in the background is also....amazing. The clapping with the acoustic at the start really reminds me of Porcupine Tree, which is never a bad thing.

I cant wait for November!!!!!

Watched the video without having any idea that I was going to hear new Devin; came out very impressed. The song struck me as a mix of the different styles explored in the DTP project, though it seemed like an evolution of those sounds - not a rehash of them. I thought I kept hearing melodies from Seams, too, though that might just be me... it had that vibe from Ghost that I love (love!), but once again, seemed like an evolution of it - not a rehash. I emphasize that because, so often, I feel artists end up recycling moods/atmospheres/sounds in their work in such a way that it borders on self-plagiarism... so I'm glad to report I hear none of that here. Anyways; all in all, awesome little tune. If it really is from Epicloud, than I can safely say that it sounds absolutely great in even demo form.

Ignoring that it might be from Epicloud or something else, I feel like that's the song that should have closed out the DTP. It's one of the most epic-sounding things I've heard him do.

Considering how much you heard of it to base your original opinion I think that was a wise idea.

Shit, that was beautiful.

I hope this really is an Epicloud demo, 'cause it's exactly how I imagined the record to sound. :)

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it but there is definitely a bit of Hide Nowhere showing its lovely face in this song. And that's a lovely thing.... I enjoy the clever self-referencing Dev does.

I dig the new stuff so I'm not into making comparisons, but to my ear this song sounds more like that earlier style of songwriting blended with Dev's newer material/style. I really can't express how much I dig this song. It's coming across as being very fanboyish but this is one of the loveliest things I've heard in a while and I don't care what it's called - I just want it.
