thanks, I know... I realize it's a wonderful problem to have. still, "buying it or not buying it" isn't the choice I want. I'd much rather have the choice between an extravagant 8-disc package and a barebones set with just the new material."

Didn't Devin say "have it your way"?

Long ago I learned that "have it your way" meant that you can order a burger with no pickles, extra onions, no tomatoes, and actually end up picking off the tomatoes and pickles, and getting absolutely no onions whatsoever.

I'm only really into this for the extra music. The 8 CDs will probably be the 4 project discs, Ghost 2, another disc of studio left-over songs (Ho-Krill or whatever) and maybe 2 live discs.

Orchestral tracks of Deconstruction would make my life. Basically the same songs, only stripped down to the orchestra and the choir. Yup. Would be awesome.

I would get bored listening to that, maybe if the vocals and electronics/keyboards were left in the mix as well... that would be awesome.

Well, you're speakin for yourself homeboy. I'd love just the orchestral/choir. But I'm not sure there's enough in every song.

Yeah, like Praise the Lowered and large chunks of Stand don't have lots of orchestration.

Perhaps a silly thing to consider, but since this will have two ProTools sessions... would one also need ProTools to actually read them? I'd like to play around and listen to all the various bits and bobs hidden away in whatever songs the sessions might be of, but not at the expense of buying ProTools.

Indeed, it would be cool if they were files I could fiddle with Audacity.
