Wow, arguing about production, are we? Do you all really care this much whether someone else considers a production muddy of muffled? Technically speaking, EVERY album he has done has had something that was shoved to the wayside or tuned down to being sludgey. I always felt that was part of the draw of his music: the mixture of crystal clear sounds and other sounds that sound like they are wading through shit. Maybe it is just my opinion, but a little obfuscation doesn't hurt the overall transmission.

As for Epicloud, I suspect it will be another straight DT. I could of sworn he made it clear that DTP would only be the big four.

I for one am not a big fan of metal artists who go by their own names. I think it gives off an impression of pretentiousness even though this is obviously not always the case.

If Dev works with all the guys on stuff in future, I think It would be cool if he came up with a band-like name

I'm not sure it would be, the performing band may still be DTP, but the "project", was the four albums.

ha i was gonna write 99% sure it won't be DTB but changed it cuz i thought i would get responses like "it DEF won't be DTB u idiot!"

i don't think naming it DTB would make much sense. 1) i'm highly doubtful mike will return, no offense but why would he? 2) "DTB" was created to counterbalance SYL. No syl, no more need for DTB 3) i kinda feel like it'll be a step backwards and everyone will compare epicloud to AE which for some reason people are already making assumptions on that.

maybe "devin townsend presents epicloud featuring the devin townsend project by devin townsend"
