i love the whole album, but SUPERCRUSH is outstanding, and the title track is "a bullet in the head" this song blows me away!
After listening to the album twice now (once in my apartment on my computer, and once laying out under the night sky), I've definitely got a good feel for it. Its so dynamic and bombastic!
As many epic moments as there were (all of Supercrush!, the "Vanilla Radio" part of Resolve!, the moody vocal outro to Numbered!, etc), The Way Home! really latched onto me. Maybe it was the sort of the gem hidden in the pile of gems, or that I hadn't heard much of it prior to getting the album, but it just lurches forth once it starts and never really ceases the assault (which reminds me of such SYL songs as Underneath the Waves and We Ride and even Ziltoid's N9). But it has those soft vocals of the verses that grow into the opera-ish pounding choruses that give it the nice contrast of smooth/heavy that I've come to know and love in the Dev's solo material. All around great song that I'll be blasting on my speakers for years to come!
