I love trance-y music. A solid heartbeat with constant morphing melodies, suspense and release. When that dude gets on a roll, there's nothing like it in my books.

I love trance music, the more psycadelic, the better.

So on thatsubject, check out : "Infected Mushroom" (which is as commercial as Tiesto, but different) or perhaps "Bamboo Forest" (which is an awesome chillout psytrance group), or for insanity psytrance, "Terranoise" (which is so unbeliveably dark, and fractal). Or if you want to dance to R2D2 from star wars getting raped by C3PO, then "Hux Flux" is for you.


BUT

one thing you simply MUST listen to before you die, is anything by simon posford (whom, like yourself is multi talented), specifically, "Shpongle" and "younger brother"

you will cream your pants. twice per song.

Shpongle is psycadelic, but comes more from a world music direction, as opposed to from a trance direction.

Devin's lack of passion for this album worries me. He's the kind of artist that you can really tell if he's not totally into it, so well, I'm gonna say...

Dev, if this album is just one big pain in the ass or is annoying you, then don't do it. You mentioned doing an EP before, and you know how this will end already you said, so why not just do that and not worry about revisiting something you feel you're finished with already.

The last thing I want to hear is an impassionate Devin album, ESPECIALLY a heavy one.
