2 guys I can think of...

RVP (Yes, I know he's just done addicted)

Nick Barker (ex-dimmu borgir, Cradle of filth) He is a metal drummer but he has some of most insane/clever drum fills. I think he isn't up to much at the moment band-wise.

I'd love to hear this guy playing with Devin, although he might be too old and I don't know if he could handle some metal duties:

Charly Antolini, a famous jazz drummer from Switzerland. His solo drum albums have served many hifi freaks for speaker testing purposes.

Slight change of discussion, but I wonder if Dev has/is considering utilizing the talents of mr Jason Newstead for bass duties on decon? Since he was due to play on fizzy back in the day before other commitments got in the way (metallica). Now that this is no longer an obstacle perhaps he would be a good fit? Also think lopez would be ideal for drums as his versatility and personallity shines through..

That would be very nice for them to get back together and finally record without anyone else in the way. What else is Jason doing now that Voivod is wrapped up?

I'm a fan of Bobby j's, if only cuz I'm a Fates nut and he fills in now and again. Speaking of which........I always felt that Mark Zonder was (is) a very interesting drummer to listen to. I would think that him and Dev would sound great together!!! Not sure that's whats needed here??

Anyhoo..... I just wanted to say, I love the fact Devin that you are using different musicians on every album. Each one is going to be so unique! Love Gene to death, but absolutely see what you are saying. Duris was such an awesome choice! I love when the personality shines through a drummers performance. Thats why I love Mark Zonder. He's not for everybody, but who is.

Duris, Ryan, two more........ awesome choices!

It would be pretty cool, he does have a jazz background. Or how about Chris Pennie (Dillinger Escape Plan, Coheed & Cambria)?

Joey's awesome, but he's on tour right now.
