Names mean nothing! SYL = Metal? Pantera?...all the same...i think those albums are amazing. I didn't contrast them with their previous works...

The albums are your opinion and I respect that, but come on! Of course names mean something. You aren't going to see Metal Church put out an R&B album! Nor are you going to see Angel Corpse put out a country album. Not all names correspond to the music (though Pantera does mean panther which is a vicious cat, so there's no reason that can't be metal) but some names advertise what you get. Not to mention that Metallica did nothing but shape the future of metal music with their prior albums. So they had a history of metal, metal in their name and their fans were metalheads. That's a recipe for METAL!!!!

Instead, we got marginal hard rock. Oh well, it's not like this argument hasn't been beaten to death and hung to dry for years and years at this point. No sense in getting too worked up.
