If music was geometrical, Dev's music would be:

But a Mobius strip is one-sided...bah!! I'd almost consider that an insult to Dev's music.

I went for Fractal. You can listen to the music several times and not get everything out of it.

A mandelbrot fractal is also infinite. :D So I went with fractal too.

Hell, to think that I am a philologist and not a mathematician - maybe I should've posted a poll on something more literature-like... ;D LOL

thanks for the nice response I got there :)

hm...maybe because Pi is just a factor and not a figure? Dunno. I'm not that much into math...let's ask someone who may know about....but who could be that? ;)

That avatar is awesome. You know, when I mentioned my favorite live bands I don't know how I forgot to mention Blue Man Group. They are out of control!! One of the most innovative groups musical groups (experiment?) I have ever had the pleasure to see.

yeah, bro in mind. I love the boys. A few weeks ago I received the Rock-Concert-DVD....it's awesome...and the "Audio" I got it as Audio-DVD...unfortunately I don't have an Audio-DVD-Player...but it's a flip-DVD...and the other side works in a standard DVD-Player with DTS-sound...coool.

They are doing such a great show and music.

The show starts in Berlin in a few weeks. I hope to see the show live during the time they are in Germany!.

pi represents a figure. namely 22 divided by 7.

Revision!!! Such a cool topic collecting dust for a year and a half? C-c-c.

I'd say describing Dev's music is similar to trying to square the circle. Dev's music is so big if you multiplied it with Pi, you'd get a whole number.

I'd go for Moebius strip because one side of the strip represents Devin and the other Strapping Young Lad. You can distinguish them quite clearly, although they are on the same path. One ends in another.

A Moebius Strip!!

I've always been intrigued by Moebius Strip!! That became an obsession for me and I've recently tattooed the Esher's Moebius Strip II on my back.

Here it is!

I picked the perfect circle for one main reason, the word perfect in there, which is all Devin will settle for.

I was going to say something witty about a black hole, but it required too much effort. So, I just choose "A black hole". I know it's not an option, but I'm feeling rebellious.

Moebius...simplicity and complexity rolled into one

i voted for the circle for the way it sounds. I mean, its a filled circle, production and sound-wise, to me. It all merges into one thing.

but damn, fragility almost made me change my opinnion, "complexity inside simplicity" is the most acid trippy thing to me, makes me stare at a plant's leaf for hours
