You're right, anyone who downloads the album without paying for it when it comes out proper is stealing. I don't disagree with you there. I guess I give people too much of the benefit of doubt. And, no, they wouldn't have it on their conscience at all. I don't want Dev to stop making music, either; the thought alone depresses the crap out of me. I don't see anything wrong with downloading the album now, then purchasing the cd from Hevydevy.com when it's released! If you're a true Devin fan, you'll purchase the product without thinking twice....the sound quality will be better anyway!

I think you are all missing the point here. It is not about downloading. Yes downloading is happening, yes people can't wait, yes it can't be stopped, yes the music is soooo good, these are things we all agree with. Then there's the issue of "is it bad or good for Devin?", which we can't fucking know. No one knows the numbers, so that discussion is pointless and people just use it accordingly to justify their downloading/not-downloading actions.
