Did anyone else here go to this? It was at the junction in Cambridge, and I have to say it was amazing. The entire first half of the set was all new songs, about 6 or 7 of them. Amazing stuff, they've all conviniently left my head exsept for the odd bit here or there, but I can safely report the new album is on track to be a blinder. I managed to pick up the new live DVD as well *on sale at the show and it isnt out for about a month! brilliance!* and the Stupid Dream re-issue. If you get a chance to see them on this tour, do so! It's 100% worth it, new songs for the first half, all the best for the second, new merch and a brilliant time!

*desperately searches for "ban" button* :P

I'd heard that they would be airing new stuff, and were taking strict measures to ensure that none of it saw the light of day on the net.

Oh well, I can but dream...

Steve plays Piano for a few of the songs, that one of the key things I can remeber. And they were very strict indeed, people were even being told not to take photographs, which was...different. According to SW, they are hopeing these songs "evolve on the road", but from what I heard last night, they really dont need to.

As for being lucky, well, for once I like to think I have been :D

To this day, Porcupine Tree has failed to catch my interest. Not sure that will ever change.

That sounds amazing. And yes, you are a lucky bastard!

I go to see them on the 1st of October. Did they have lots of copies of the DVD and Stupid Dream on sale? I would like to pick them both up. And were they cheap?

Thats strange they have come up with so much new stuff already. Did they roll out any old songs too? They usually seem to throw in a few nuggets. Not chicken nuggets, though that would be neat too. Into the crowd. Yum!

Anyway, sounds cool! Glad you had a good gig. Cant wait to see them too.

As I recall, the DVD was £15 and Stupid Dream was £13,and there seemed to be plenty of them. Very cool you are getting to see them on this tour!
