What kind of music do you think Dev will write in 2007? I'm thinking it'll be mellow for two reasons - 1) He'll be a Dad, and 2) He's said many times that his recent graft with SYL has left him all heavied-out. I absolutely love his mellow stuff, more so than SYL, so I can't wait! But what do other people think?

I've learned over the years that there is zero point in speculating about Dev's next project. For years after City he swore there would never be another SYL record. He also said at the time that he was heavied out as well. Then came Physicist. A steaming metal album. A few years later, SYL was back with a vengeance. All I know is that he'll probably never stop writing music, and any of us who've come this far are most likely gonna like whatever the hell it is. Exactly what form it will take is, however, impossible to speculate on.
