Gotta feel for all the people he left behind... his wife, 2 young kids (the older of the two obviously idolised her Dad), and the people at Australia Zoo who depended on him for their livelihood.

Apparently the zoo is open for business today so for the sake of all the people who make a living from it, here's hoping they keep the place going.

Just watched the memorial service on tv. It was actually genuinely moving. When his right hand man packed up his ute (Aussie pick up truck) for the last time and drove it out of the arena... *shivers*

I just saw a little clip of his daughter saying "my dad was the best dad in the world and whenever I see a crocodile I will think of him"

She was so cute, it really choked me up this morning, lol
