besides the video which is just footage form recording studio, what does everyone think of the new song , i personally like it and it sounds better than there last album. i dug the last one but not so much that one i listen to when in a certain mood. but i loved brave new world. although the artwork on the new album looks awesome and kinda vintage vibe to it.
It's an interesting blend of Maiden's different eras; the beginning of the intro reminds me of the "Walking On Glass" guitar solos section from "Somewhere On Tour", the following acoustic part could have been on The X-Factor, the middle instrumental part sounds like something from Powerslave.
The best thing is the production, especially of the drums IMO. On Fear Of The Dark, 'Arry was able to convince Nicko to tune down his snare (McBrain usually prefers a more jazz-y snare sound) and the result was the biggest drum sound on any Maiden album. On every successive Maiden output the snare sound wasn't that great, but on this new album they obviously delivered again. Finally, the best drum sound since 1992! Me happy.

You don't like Nevermore, you don't like Maiden...?
You don't like metal, right?
