I watched the game alone yesterday, those two goals.. made me very happy! I'm half-italian and I have always rooted for them.
The referee was good, let the teams play on, but sometimes, he was a bit passive. AND he gave an exellent free-kick to Germany, that was really not a free kick..
Cannavaro, Buffon, Gattuso and Pirlo have been the best in the Italian team this far IMO.

A german newspaper, had, before the game the frontpage with a picture of a pizza, and over every pizza slice a picture of an italian football player, and the text over read: "Buon Appetito", "Have a good meal" (I don't know how you say it in English, but hopefully, some of you know that frase in Italian..)

I'd have to say good job to the french today. It was a horrible way to lose from a portugal fans point of view, but i'll give credit where it's due and france played very well.

Yes, it's a hilarious clip because of the commentator, but it really makes me realize that the futbol world is going to miss Zizou. I've been watching it for like half an hour straight now and its making me all teary eyed. I think its the dramatic music, haha.
