I will support France, but yes I would like to see Italia go through.

Bah... some people might be jealous of Italia's relative success or dislike Italians for some reason... not me. I just don't like watching the football side (apart from the defence and Luca Toni, one man who has been most impressive).

Best of luck to Italian supporters!

Hey Geoff, did you hear that Houllier might be the new Australian coach after the new season with Lyon? Not sure how I feel about that... I'm a big fan in some respects. The only problem he has is with his match day tactics... sometimes very conservative with Liverpool. BUT, we could do a lot worse.

That's right, and as you know it is not based on football. On one hand, I glad The Netherlands are out. But on the other hand, I am pretty chauvinistic.

Hevydevy Webmaster wrote:Luis Figo was probably one of the best offensive midfield player in the world these last years so I don't think a guy that played for Barcelone, Madrid and Milan just live on reputation. I hope he will be on top against France because he is such an amazing player.

From what I know he hasn't done that well at all since he left Barcelona, maybe in his first year in Madrid. He used to be great, but now he's egocentric, arrogant, lazy and fat, and he lives on the reputation he gained when he was young. It's a good thing that he's quitting.
Same goes basically for Ronaldo, Zidane and Beckham. They were huge stars, came to Madrid and pretty much failed miserably.

I also read something about Houlier being coach.

I read this info about Houillier. They proposed him 20 millions $. His contract ends in 2 years with Lyon anyway. I have not been impressed by this coach so far even if Lyon has been champion this year again.

I know Lyon is looking for Kaka, Anelka and Trezeguet too

Italy > Germany

I was the happiest non-italian alive when I heard they won.

FORZA AZZURI! WHATEVER THAT MEANS!!

EDIT: And Kaka isn't leaving Milan anytime soon. He's got to be the franchise player now.

Best game of the tournament last night.
Both teams played really well and neither really deserved to lose. When I see games and teams playing like that it makes all that talk about England being potential World Champions seem like crap!

Decent referee too. Some of them are far too card-happy

Hoping for Italy-France final and France to win.

Action, players knowing what to do with the ball, I was up and down all the time, I enjoyed that game. The first goal was phenomenal, surgically accurate, and then like 6 feet isn't deep enough BOOM - another. T'was a good game in my opinion, though I was rooting for ze Germans.

Seconded.

Although after yesterday's performance the italians would deserve it, too. No catenaccio at all and an offensive, open exchange of blows from both sides. Good match with a slightly more hard-nosed and mature italian team that deserved to win when all is said and done...
