Recently i was in waterloo seeing a screening of an independent documentary called "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey" by Sam Dunn. Sam is a phD in anthropology (no lie) and he made this movie on his own.

i absolutely recommend this to EVERY FUCKING METAL HEAD on this forum. this is an excellent documentary. it is now available on dvd. check it out guys

Yeah my friend Michelle saw an advanced screening of it ages ago. She said that the best metal documentaries up until that movie released probably would have scored something like a 5 or 6 out of 10, and that she would give this one a 9. What I've heard is that there are some things in there that not everyone would agree with but for the most part it's very accurate.

I still have to see it
