I see the ghosts of navigators but they are lost
As they sail into the sunset they’ll count the cost
As their skeletons accusing emerge from the sea
The sirens of the rocks, they beckon me

Yeah, great song I must admit. They've never lost it, have they? Even all these years later. Even Dance of Death is pretty decent.

Anyway, I was thinking Savatage: The Wake of Magellan

Yep, got those ready for the next CD. Good ones though, I was looking through their other stuff and didn't really find anything other than stuff off of Seas of Cheese that would fit in, but I have 2 CDs done with most of the suggestions off of here on them, and I'm working on compiling enough for a third. I wanna try to get through the night without having to repeat any songs (other than the four different versions of What Would you do With a Drunken Sailor and the three different versions of a Pirate's Life for Me).

Everyone dressed up as a pirate I suppose.

I suggest Samson & Gert - Piraten van de zee. Try to get the music video, you'll laugh your ass off

Dungeons "Tarranno Del Mar"

I, King of the sea
A galleon ship, the waves of torment and destiny
A thousand winds bear our gust, my eyes are blinded by hate
With the hammer of war and evil onboard
At the edge of hell we await

A pauper's son, a god reborn
My name is death's last kiss
The iron cross of Usthanates
From the secrets of the deep

CHORUS:
There's an evil force inside of me
Will it end, I do not know
Unholy force that lives inside my dreams
To the gates of hell we roar
Down below...

Blood and battle-scarred, the sea my domain
None shall pass the Maybelle alive
Victims forty score, my sails filled from hell
Victims of the seven seas...

I saw this live, and they did these sort of vocal warmup thing before the song, and got the crowd to do it, but he can sign so high everyone just stopped and looked in awe, then he did that in the song and the whole crowd joined. Ah, good times.

slime - "wir lieben die stürme" (means "we love the storms"). punk version of an old german pirate song. kicks ass, and i guess the german lyrics will make it seem even more pirate-ish!

Hey, if you're going to wee AND come in the kiddie pool, I'll be giving it a miss.
