Oh man, i like the whole album, but listening to the first three songs in a row on the way to work is a REQUIRED daily routine for me now. Totally blows me away. The soothing melody of Let it roll, then it flows to Hypergeek (the part where it counts down and then just totally explodes is fantastic!) and then Triumph, which is just too good a song for it's own good . Pixillate, Judgment, Notes from Africa, Gaia and Vampira are excellent too. I can't really get into babysong and A simple Lullaby yet, though.

I'm going to watch the dvd now.

I haven't been able to go purchase the record yet because of the lack of money I have right now. :(

Would anybody who has the record be willing to post lyrics to the songs here?

Baby Song & A Simple Lullaby certainly does require a lot from the listener. I would be lying if I said it didn't take me quite a good deal of listens to appreciate these 2 songs. I guess it also depends on the mood.

Same here, but I learned to love them.

I got it on the 27th from 78 records perth...
fuckin wikid.
Song 1 we already decided my girl is gonna walk down the aisle to...; "come in... my love..." and so on.

I actually really enjoy the second half even though some have said itis harder to getinto and more complex... i like devs complex stuff.

Great album that i feel is an infinity meets terria kinda vibe...

this one will be on heavy rotation for years to come.

it got funny parts (vampolka... *rofl*) and
experimental parts ( maybe triumph or pixillate)

but its just my opinion...

I am very impressed so far, the album has surprised me, which is what it's all about for me.

I think quality wise this is potentially right up there ..though i doubt it will become my favourite, just on the basis of an emotional connection....(obviously very early to say for definate on either of those things though

Amazing stuff! It's pretty much everything I had hoped for..perhaps not the same as what I had hoped for, but as good as I had hoped :)

I've also found the experience of listening to this album quite emotional so far...not because of any deep lyrical empathy or anything...it just is stirring stuff in me like no other muscian can :)

I got the European digipack from in the mail from HDR yesterday and noticed that there's a popping sound at the very end of Triumph. It's pretty damn annoying. Is anyone else having this problem?

I've got mine today! European SE edition from Inside Out. The dvd was amusing, goddamn the bus/urine scene was truly disgusting! Oh well, I just looooove these cd+dvd packs :D

After a couple of weeks of listening (yeah, I downloaded it), THE favorite track is Pixillate. I've grown this nasty habit of skip'ing the first two tracks, the album starts with Triumph IMO. I haven't got into the four last tracks yet, focused mostly from Triumph to Pixillate.
I hated Babysong the first times, untill one day I saw this mother taking care of her baby at the subway. Acidentally with Babysong in my ears of course. A real turning point! :D

This album has been some kind om afrodisiac for me. Recently got a new job, and Synchestra has really helped me reach euphoric hights.
On the other side, it has taken me out of hell since I've recently had to quit alchohol and weed at the same time. Thats really a hard thing to do.
I have to be the only one not regretting downloading it.
It couldn't have helped me in the way it has, if I started listening to it now.

So afterall Im just loving this album, best release from Dev (even SYL) since Terria. One can really hear the growth of the musicianship in DTB.

BTW, have Devin forgot to thank Steve Vai in the booklet?!
