another question Tracy!

when you send the cds by mail, when we preorder them from hevydevy by paypal, how do they come packaged?

I mean, because if it's clearly a bought imported product, i may have to pay almost 60% taxes over it if i'm not mistaken.

Not sure how it works wherever you're from, but here, from experience, a single cd will generally not get stopped by custsoms, its only something worth more/larger which they tend to stop most of the time.

I have never had to pay any tax on CDs or shirts from HevyDevy before and I live in England, so you should be fine :)

Yup', in France everything is supposed to be taxed, but it's purely random.
I've already ordered stuff worth 30€ and I got taxes on it (my first foreign order in fact), and stuff worth 90€ and had no taxes on it. Since the first order, everything else was never taxed... Go figure...
As said upon, they may not bother for a CD.

I've never had any comments about single CDs being taxed. Most countries have a minimum of around $30. CDs are marked $10. This goes the other way too, people. I have had to pay huge import taxes on our own product because people who want to exchange something list the price, including postage, as the value. I have paid $45 for a returned T-shirt.

If you ask, sometimes even if you don't, I will mark something a gift - but that does not exempt you from taxes, it is the discretion of the customs office whether to tax a gift.

Ok, I have a question. I ordered my Synchestra DVD edition (Euro) through the HDR website on the 25th. Now when does this ship? I saw something in the other forum about it not shipping until the 10th. Is this only for the jewel case version? Will my cd be coming within a few days via digipak?

Damn, I wish I ordered later. I want a jewel case. I have AE in digipak, as do I have a few other cds, and I never like them. But I only put my cd cases in the tower and put cds in a cd case, so I guess it is no big deal. Just preference.

It doesn't really matter to me whether I get the digipack or the jewel case. I just don't know how I'm going to hold up not listening to any of the online samples or downloading the leak until around the 10th.

Only a few weeks...

All orders have shipped. The HDR DVD will mail about the 13th. There will be preorders for it too a few days before.
