i dunno but it might be coz its pretty hard to sing like that, ive tried. not saying that im anywhere near as good a singer as dev is but its tough just constantly screaming "i fucking hate you". or it may be he likes the new lyrics more

He just says "Fucking hate, fucking hate" and Jed says the "I fucking hate you". Devin can't say the 'you' live because it leaves no place to breathe between lines.
