It was the most glorious video ever created. I feel sad for you.

It was just clips of a few songs that may or may not actually be on the Casualties album. You never know with Dev. The tunes consisted of some country-ish tunes that were very reminiscent of early Johnny Cash, and some ambient stuff, and the video itself was just a slideshow of stills, mainly featuring trains.

Listened to the "Casualties" vid and loved pretty much everything I heard... exactly the headspace I've been in lately. I know he originally said that he was gonna push this back/take it slow, but now he said some things on twitter that seem to suggest that this might see the light of day sooner rather than later... maybe by the end of the year? I'm probably just reading too much into it; been anxiously awaiting this release in particular even before Epicloud dropped...

First video - loads of interesting stuff, not a fan of the random noisy start (or any Devlab type things) but the Ayreon-style folky part after it is pretty cool! A fair bit of the stuff which I imagine is going on Ziltoid sounds awesome!

Second video - If it's as much like Ki in structure as it is in sound it'll be great. Personally this feels like an autumn/winter album so would be great if it did get released later in the year.

Metalstorm.net have Casualties at a December release time. Considering they were off on Ghost 2, I'm not going to trust them this time. Makes you wonder why sites go out of their way to be misleading, or appropriate rumors without an official word.

Could just be a placeholder. I don't know if this is done in music much, but I know game retailers will usually pull release dates out of their asses if one hasn't been announced yet.
