I know some folks hate the cover art, but I love it. It fits the music. It's the type of cover Van Halen or Journey would have done in the 80's. Pure epic cheese.

I dig the cover, I didn't realize there was any negativity towards it. Though, I'd also love to see something similar except without the DTP logo and "epicloud" and etc, and instead just Devin's O-face popping up from behind the planet

Ah Ih! should have been a massive hit. It's a beautiful song. But, it couldn't be because it's got too much Dev in it. I have played Dev for "normal" people and they don't get it. It's too dense, too complex, too different. Mainstream audiences don't want Devy in their life. And, I think that's okay.

I know exactly what you mean. So far, my brother is the only person other than myself that I personally know who cares for anything he has done. And it is his sensibility when it comes to music, both lyrically and musically. His lyrics range from too positive and obtuse to too negative and abstract for generalized audiences. Not that people in general can't comprehend it, but that it doesn't do anything for many people. And musically, well let's look at Gotye. "Somebody that I used to know" is his only massive hit (and only hit) int he US to date and it is easily the of less interesting songs in his catalogue. Every now and then, there will be *a* song that Devy will do that will attract more people, but most of his stuff, especially the stuff we all like, is too *something* whether it is goofy, crazy, puppet-y, heavy and now poppy.
