The only song I really don't like is Divine.

I know Devin said repeatedly that he was going for mostly radio-friendly pop, but most of the other songs offer something better, divine is just insipid to me.

It's just soooo relaxing though

Divine is a lovely little song. Devin sounds a little lispy at the start of it for some reason. Nothing wrong with that though

It is relaxing. It saved me from listening to the fucking marching band playing a bunch of "Latin" pop songs (On The Floor, I Like it, and some Pitbullshit).

thanks for the update! I've already got 2 copies of the regular epicloud coming with my concert tickets, plus I'll be purchasing the deluxe edition at the show.

Quietus is like something from Ghost 2. Way too dark ambient sounding for Epicloud.

Did Dev ever say the songs on the 2nd CD were demos of the 1st CDs or completely original?

My understanding is that they are completely different songs.

i remember seeing on twitter him mentioning that disc 2 will have typical devy styled songs. whatever that means.

All the songs on disc 2 sound like they could've been from the epicloud sessions. I'm pretty sure I hear Anneke all over it.

Quietus is like something from Ghost 2. Way too dark ambient sounding for Epicloud.

I feel like Quietus could've taken Lucky Animals place Fucking cool song.

I do like Quietus very much, but as for replacing Lucky Animals, I'm not sure. I feel Lucky Animals is my least favorite song because it's so catchy. Usually the uncatchy songs are the best for me. But I'm just glad i can hear Quietus regardless.
