Sounds incredible. :)

I dunno why but my favorite devy moments are when he mixes horns w/ heavy riffs. like on anti-product and the few parts in ziltoid.

Thanks for posting this! Epicloud is sounding like a killer record! I may not be a fan of all those song, but I bet I will like a lot of them and appreciate the others. Kinda like Ghost, I think. There are a couple songs I don't dig on that much on Ghost, but Fly, Feather, Blackberry, and Ghost (the song) more than make up for them. I can't wait to hear Epicloud!

Some great info here, thanks guys.

From the various quotes and Dev's status,"Epicloud is gonna rock harder than what some may expect" or something like that from a few days ago, it sounds like this album is gonna be way more varied and complex than originaly expected.

Nice, Dev surprise are always great :guitar:

I've read that Devin Townsend will be doing the vocals and guitars
Seriously though, I believe that Ryan van Poederooyen will be on it. Other than that, I don't know.

Dev has mentioned he'd work again with Anneke (van Giersbergen) again on something, though I don't know whether that meant for Epicloud already. If the "new" Kingdom is indeed appearing on it, then it's not entirely unthinkable since she was usually involved on-stage when the DTP performed it live (at venues where she was present).

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's said he wants Anneke on Epicloud.

Which is shaping up to be incredible, by the way. Every bit of that sounds like gold.

I'm going to go out on a limb and figure it's basically the touring band+anneke and whatever other pieces he wants to throw in, just out of utility of playing it live, and that Dave Young is a wizard.

Yeah might be... But it also reminds me of Juno. I'm not sure if it is Juno.

And yes, Dave Young is a wizard. He has the beard for it. He can also do EVERYTHING.

I'm happy to say that it's not Juno! :)

By the time it gets to 6:47, it sounds like a bit of Synchronicity Freaks.

Yeah, it is Syncy' Freaks. At least for a couple of seconds.
