Wow. I wonder if the new version will be a little less heavy, I can't imagine Kingdom like it sounded on Physicist being on Epicloud, assuming the sound hasn't changed much since Devin described the style for us.

Very interested to hear what this all culminates in. If it's a whole album of stuff that sounds like Kingdom/Juno/that demo from a few months ago, I'd be down with that, but I also hope to hear some distinct new flavors from Dev here. then again, he's coming out with two other ones shortly thereafter so I suppose I shouldn't get greedy.
One of the things I've always liked about Devin's music is that he can write really complicated, sprawling pieces of music but he has a really good pop sensibility and catchiness about the way he writes that makes everything much more palatable than other "prog" type musicians. It's fun without sacrificing artistry at all.
