This may have been asked, and the answer is probably really obvious, but the copies of the box set that will be available on the night, does anyone know of they will be limited to one per person?? Sorry if this has already been asked/answered somewhere.

This is a shot in the dark times infinity, but would anyone in the London area who is going to this and/or the June 6 unplugged gig be willing to host me? I haven't had any luck with individual requests on Couchsurfing and figured I'd say something here before posting on London's "HELP ME!!!!" page. I'm actually from the United States (studying in Finland), so you can imagine my apprehension for getting a hostel with that ungodly exchange rate

Clink is a pretty nice hostel, and it's very inexpensive C: And trust me, I've been in grimmer and more expensive hostels OUTSIDE of London...

By the way, just thought everyone should know that the premiere coincides with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The cinema is situated right in the heart of all the action, it's going to be CHAOS. So please guys, plan your day and journeys very carefully!!!

stupid queen...would have had the late may bank holiday off but they moved it for the Jubilee and now I have to work that day so instead of one extra day off, I get one less, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Went to the cinema today, it's pretty damn slick! VERY easy to get to from Leicester Square tube station, I'll draw and scan a very crude map if anyone requests.

I just got home... and woah, that was really awesome! Brief summary: Met a bunch of people I haven't seen since Devember in the queue, and eventually got to say hi to the band again. When we got inside the cinema everybody just mingled around, found their seats, bought the box set, got it signed, chatted with the band. A really relaxed and nice atmosphere. The DVD is awesome. The box is absolutely beautiful, and it was awesome reliving the concerts. Also... according to Dev, it's packed with "Ziltoid eggs" that can be unlocked by doing various weird stuff. There were a few problems with the screening, which just made it more entertaining really. A nice mixture of songs from each gig and some Devy stand-up comedy. After the screening, Dev signed and took photos with everyone who wanted. And I mean everyone. Just plain awesome.
