Has anyone else noticed how tasty the bass is in this song?

I also have another question about something I find odd in "Fly"

the second time he says "fly over the mountain", the "tain" part of mountain sounds pitched DOWN. It sounds like it's full of artifacts (sort of like when you use the octave down setting on a Digitech Whammy)

I hear what your saying, but im pretty sure that Dev is just lowering his voice. You can hear the same pitch when he sings "To save my solar ways."
