Will recieve my Shure SRH 840 headphones tomorrow. Can't wait, cause I've never had proper audiophile quality headphones. Should be good... And with a very long life due to replacable cables and other parts.

Ha, that's exactly how it starts

Before you know it, you'll have a audio setup that's 'worth' more then your computer, just don't get sucked into the bullshit

Finish the art with Trav and make it available for download for free

Get the remaining tracks up as well, and then get it in the order it's meant to go.. you won't have to pay for it if I find a clever way.

Sorry for the bs, I'll make it happen.

free download is very generous and i just can't wait to hear it, but maybe you could do a run of like 500 or 1000 cds directly from the hevydevy site w/ a small booklet like the assorted demos/devlab. just would really be nice to have a physical CD. at the very least, maybe it could be included in the boxset?

You know you've got the best fans in the world when they
actually try to talk you out of giving away your music for free.

And instead sell him into the European sex industry where he will ultimately become some Turkish sugardaddy's bottom bitch and change his name to Rochelle.

You can tell me to shut up at any time, Dev.

What a magnificent tangent...

That Ghost 2 artwork is fackin' sweeeeeeeeeeeet!! So awesome looking... Really hope it sees the light of day as a CD in it's own right just so I can add that to my collection.

And I'm also gonna fully support the notion that, if you are going to release it as a download-only album, you should totally do one of those "pay whatever you think it's worth" type of things. That way people who want to throw you a few quid for the effort can, instead of you just totally giving away the work for free...

I gotta say that i really dig the idea of the paypal account. :)

a lot of people who run various websites out there who take donations for their server fees, etc. would be cool to be able to send some monetary love Canada-way for those of us who want to support the musical cause. It doesn't have to be for a particular album or anything, so it wouldn't piss off any labels or step on anyone's toes, hopefully!

I keep forgetting we live in a world where people fetishize anything and everything.

I wish I could forget that. I wish I could forget that night I walked into the middle of a Furry convention at a hotel in Las Vegas. That memory has been branded into my brain and it will not...go...away!!!

I was just up on YouTube watching the NAMM videos again and something struck me. Now, I realize this is not the case, so don't start... But, imagine if it was.

If you didn't follow Devin too closely and went from listening to Decon to Ghost, you might think he was kidding. In fact, if you did know his sense of humor, you might even suspect more strongly that he was just taking a piss. I mean, the same guy that screams his balls of on Storm or Love? is this guy on stage with the acoustic guitar and the flute player?

WUT?

What if Devin was just, like, "hmmm, I wonder what I could get my fans to buy? What would really warp their minds? More extreme metal? Nah, they like that. ::gasp:: That's it!! Totally mellow flute music with a country twang! Masterful!"

Anyway, I giggled when I thought of it. Clearly, this is not a joke, and the music is beautiful. But, only a true indie artist like Devin could pull off a Uturn like this. What's most impressive is that a bunch of us are going with him. This is head-shakingly awesome.
