Holy shit. I watched live videos of the song on the ol' youtube, but after finally listening to the album version (or at least an edit)... I'm absolutely amazed. That was quite possibly the most beautiful thing I've ever heard from you, Dev.

However, it is destined to become the 'red headed stepchild' of the bunch :)

no question.

Well, it seems that folks warmed to Ki later, and this is coming out at the same time as Deconstruction, it may TECHNICALLY be the stepchild, but I think more folks are going to dig it than you think.

I believe a trip to the park is in order when this album is finally released,it'll be warmer by then as well so it should make for quite a nice experience :)

I forgot when I saw Neurosis. Ears were ringing for a week. If you guys ever see Swans, you better damn well bring plugs. Couldn't imagine how loud is was without them.

Yeah, Neurosis are hellishly loud live. Have brought earplugs with me every time after that gig...

I was about to go to sleep and am really tired, but judging by one listen I'm pretty sure 'Feather' is awesome.

Yup. I didn't ever wear earplugs when I played or when I went to shows. I was at a Van Halen show once, about 4 feet from the stage and one of the PA speakers. Since then, I have been the proud owner of a pretty gnarly case of tinnitus.

I'm actually thinking of doing something similar. I want to find some awesome wooded area to wander around in with Ghost, to consolidate atmosphere with a real place and all that jazz. It would be preferable if it's misty out, but I'll be happy nonetheless.

Dev, you've done it again. Feather has touched all the right strings in my heart.

I've always had occasional tinnitus, never to do with gigs. The eardrum thing was totally uncool, like the worst thing ever. I wouldn't ever want it to happen to anyone else, so I always preech the importance of earplugs, which make the gigs sound better anyways IMO.

That may very well be, but as much as I'm anticipating Decon I'm just as eager
to hear Ghost. I have a very limited supply of "chill" music...

Opeth - Damnation
Alice in Chains - Unplugged

And Maserati. You can never go wrong with Maserati.

But it seems like Ghost is exactly what I've wanted from you for so long.
Among them; acoustic guitars and you singing. I think it's gonna be an absolute dream.

Absolutely tortured by all the fantastic comments Feather is getting in this thread, cause I haven't listened to it yet! :P I don't want to ruin the album experience for myself, come May/June/whenever, so I'm forcing myself not to listen and have my mind blown later... from the sound of it, though, it'll be worth it. :D
