It's funny...to me, infinity seems rather boring in comparison to the boundary. If the universe were infinite in volume...well, it just never stops. If it's not....well, that's when things get interesting.

a good point, but just even thinking of infinity is impossible - that's why it can't be boring either. I get your point completely though. (I think he's into physics).

Maybe the boundaries are physical forms? Finite and infinite connected?

beers?

This thread is giving me a headache.

"Modular forms and elliptic curves! Infinite fire revolving around infinite parallels fractals of infinite reality, each cascading, gliding in an infinite wheel. Tell me the true nature of my reality!"

...You gotta chill...

Definitely late commenting in here (considering I read the lyrics the day Dev posted them) but a few I wanted to mention...

I'VE COME FACE TO FACE WITH MYSELF, MAN.
SANCTIFY THE EARLY LIGHT JUST LIKE THE OLD MAN CAN, BOY!
CHANGE THE WORLD?? YOU BETTER CHANGE YOURSELF MAN, BOY…MAN
CHALLENGE THE MIND TO BE MORE LIKE THE ROLLING OCEAN MAN!

I know who I am today,
But who knows?
To forgive the lord… you don't DAMN FAMILY!
All I ever wanted was to BE TRUE for my WIFE and my KID.
And I will NEVER back down, and I RELEASE THE PAIN!!!

I AM RIGHT HERE, AND I AM NOT FRIGHTENED…ARE WE CLEAR?? ARE WE???
YOU NEVER COME ROUND, YOU WILL NOT BE WELCOME, YOU WILL NOT!!!
YOU HAVE BEEN VANQUISHED, LET GO!!!
I'VE CONQUERED MY SOUL!
VANQUISHED…NOW GO!!!!
EXORCISE YOURSELF!

AND STAND FOR WHAT YOU TRULY BELIEVE IN!

...these few in particular really hit me as strong, STRONG lines. I completely understand Dev's 'ferocious optimism' comment from a while back, and his description of the record being more about 'tension with no release' than 'unbridled fury' makes more sense now too. I don't care if we get a single tidbit more of music or anything else until the release date for either Decon OR Ghost; I just want a pre-order link for both, and I'll be happy... :D
