4:03 - 4:08 in Deconstrupdate 2, you can hear him very briefly. It's just before Sumeria transitions into Poltergeist.

Hope that helps!

Hmmmm I listened again, but I thought that was some male choir?? I'll just have to hear the song in its entirety to know for sure! Thank you for the help :)

Yeah that's definitely the male choir, not Joe Duplantier. I recall a youtube post where someone thought they heard Mikael in that exact same spot...lol. The only guest I can make out for sure is Tommy Rogers during the Planet of the Apes I bit.

I'm quite sure i can hear Akerfeldt doing one single growl at exactly 5:49 ("Stand"). He is part of some "choir", too, but his typical low and voluminous growl stands out a bit.

Yep I hear him too! Man I can't wait for this record to come out!

Ooh, I've got to watch the video again!
Here's hoping that Mike's clean vocals are utilised as well. Can you imagine what a choir of Akerfeldts would sound like?

 many minds would be blown. I wonder if Akerfeldt would consider letting Dev have a guest spot on the new Opeth record, or even better on his project with Steven Wilson!
I would love to hear that!!

It amazes me how The Mighty Masturbator Sounds, or should i say Infinite Waltz. The way he uses it on Decon is amazing such more Element to the song, adding an orchestra and a choir to the song makes it sound THAT much better, i love the original, but i'm sure im Really gonna love the new version

Cool! And, actually, I'm hoping the video will be in the same vein as the ones for Coast and Bend It Like Bender!, if only because Konrad P's style really fit the music... IMO. Live action is great, in theory, but it always wind up being too... cheesy, for me. It usually doesn't do the music justice because the artist doesn't have the funds/resources necessary to make a GOOD live action video... special effects and all that stuff included. Konrad seems to have a really neat style he's nailed down for the DTP videos, where you get a sort of 'vibe' watching them, versus having people trying to act out whatever the song may be about. Or, something along those lines...

I dunno, that's just my take on it, but either way I'm sure Dev'll do it justice. Glad to hear Deconstruction is finished; now all I need for the announcement to come out telling me where I can preorder, and I'm set! :D

I feel the same way. I heard the clips, and, well, wow, it's going to be classic.

I wish we had some clues as to which songs which guests are in...
