LOGIC ERROR BALLSBALLSBALLS

Cut it in half = Two semi-circular cheeseburgers.

Also, anyone watch this weeks South Park? It just made me think of Decon...

Going to try and watch it now - have to know what you mean!

Just watched it. First off, best one all season. Second off, the speech made by Stan's mom totally made me think of Decon. Just how South Park in that moment tore itself apart, and got to the root of itself.

For some strange reason I thought I didn't like deconstruction much during the first 2 listens. But this album strangely gets better after about 4 or 5 listens. Right now I'm thinking this is the most amazing Dev album ever !

I'm listening to it much more than ghost now which is not something I was prepared for.

I was actually in pain laughing, definitely the best of the series.

That episode of South Park was amazing. And yeah, I was thinking Decon as well.

Go to the U.K. store.

Was certainly a hard album to get into 100%, but I've been listening to it since the leak and am as excited as I could be to receive my pre-order in the mail. Definitely an album that needs multiple listens, which is a factor of many truly great albums IMO.

City took me awhile to appreciate, but after that, any other SYL album immediately clicked. Despite what some SYL "aficionados" seen to suggest, Deconstruction undoubtedly takes the intensity to another level, but I can agree that it doesn't carry the same aggression, which is what Dev has been saying the entire time.

As for Ghost, the Feather promo came out at a good time for me to realize it was a masterpiece, but I haven't really been in the mood for Ghost since the leak. I pre-ordered Ghost as well, so I'll give it a proper listen once it arrives (looking forward to the bonus vinyl 8) ). I really do appreciate the fact that all of Devin's albums are rather different from one another. Even though I'd completely ignore an album like Ghost if it weren't done by Dev, I'm glad such an album is in the catalog (now what mood could I be in that a Devin album doesn't suit?).

I was impressed when Devin admitted that he couldn't write SYL or Terria-like material anymore. More of a fascinating look into the creative mind than anything else. I expect most on the forum don't truly desire a copy of any other album. It's bewildering how a favorite artist to so many people hasn't taken some huge position in radio play...

Him working within the metal sphere is most likely to blame. There's too much stereotyping of metal because of the 80's I feel.

So it looks like Juular and Sumeria are being performed live now. Is this going to be the setlist for North America? Is there any chance that the song Deconstruction will ever be played live? I think I'd die a little bit on the inside if I heard that song live. :dead:

Also has there been any word on the hevydevy sale of Deconstruction and Ghost? I've been busy and haven't seen a link yet.
