This fits on the album more than at least one song on Decon. This most certainly did not disappoint.

exactly. the approach of the song is at the "screaming miles a minute about shit" point — Dev does it fantastically as always ("Happy Camper," "OMFG," et al), but even the blastbeat sections of Decon don't go there.

honestly, it would've been a bit of a slap in the face of Dev's statements about Decon being his matured view of crazymetal and the context it now works in for him.

We also don't know if this is what "Mad At My Dad" would have sounded like when finished for the album. This song has been reworked a bit, though I'm sure it isn't far from it's original musical intentions. Still, even though this would not fit on the current Decon, I'd like to hear the original incarnation of the song. Remember, some song cuts happened simply because there isn't enough time on a CD, and not necessarily because they didn't fit Dev's final vision.
