Yeah, they're awesome and I wanted to buy one badly, but my roommates buy the shittiest coffee in the world, and it just wouldn't feel right.

Buy your own coffee then, stating it's exclusively for your mug. I would.

But where can I get one?

The old cafe press store. I'm not sure if you can still get them

Hey...

I chose Ryan because there's a bunch of it that will be played live, so he might as well start learning it now.

I chose Dirk because he's a peaceful person who can do all the requisite chaos.

The drumming is not the focus of the album.

I've explained the Gene thing many times, and the syl thing of course...I don't however blame people for continuing to ask.

Deconstruction is angry at the people who want it (if that makes any sense) it's very good. It's very progressive, and I believe any number of drummers could have done it. It's just 'following the demo' for much of it, so I wanted good vibes more than someone to 'meld' with. I talked to a bunch of guys, and either they were too busy, or not stoked enough.

There is no question that Deconstruction will be expensive. Tracking the drums alone cost more than all of Ghost. The two albums are cross-collateralized.

Ghost is very emotional, but it's an emotion I'm not too familiar with...it's on the other side.

Huh, so it's kinda like when you come out of Ki into Quiet Riot, or the bulk of Awake into the ambience?

Am glad to read that - it'll be fun to play both albums back to back for a really full on experience.

That seems like the aim of the back-to-back release... Can't wait!

Ah.. I know I'm gonna sound far too fan-boyish now. But reading through the lines from our favorite artist's thoughts finally again feels like a warm homecoming

Nice. If both albums come out at the same time, I'll listen to Deconstruction, but I'll have to wait a couple of hours before hearing Ghost. I need to be in the right mindset so I don't end up soiling my beautiful Ghost experience by getting into too heavy of a mood.

In a way, Ghost is heavier... emotionally. It wipes me out so far, it's a lot of brain work to get through. Working on it now, it sounds like something 'started'

...I don't know how else to explain it. In a way it's really creepy, but not like Ki, but similar. More adult than Ki, and bigger, and darker...with much less heavy and more gut emotion.
