Been there. Done that.
I had a VIP ticket which kicked major asses.
Meeting the whole band was something else really.
The goodies were really awesome but the whole VIP thing was delayed from 5:45 to 6:30.
They let us in before the others which proved to be kinda pointless as I hated the first 2 bands (not my style at all, I think I'm growing out of metal) and could easily have jumped to the first row right after the second band ended their (way too long for my tastes) set.

I have to say that seeing Devin live for the second time and this time with a full set instead of 30 minutes one was absolutely beautiful.
He gave his all-too famous faces and rants to the audience and his voice wasn't too crappy at all even if it was there were only two shows left on the tour.

Setlist (As I recall)

-Truth
-Om
-ZTO
-By Your Command
-Life
-Deadhead
-Disruptr
-Supercrush
-Kingdom
-Colour Your World
-The Greys (beautiful)
-Some kind of accoustic song I had never heard of (If anybody knows what the hell it was as it was so damn awesome)
-Deep Peace

It think that's mostly it. Very very magical night indeed the 3 last songs were pure beauty even if there was some drunken asshole screaming to Dev when he was telling us to keep quiet just for that mellow beautiful song... But I guess that sort of jackassery happens all the time heh ?
The whole DevExperience was just plain fucking amazing. Devin is the nicest guy ever and after the gig he just when upfront and thanked everybody and signed stuff to everybody.

The only downpoint for me :
- The two opening bands which were totally out of sync with Devy's style if I may say so. I don't know who chooses the bands for these tours but goddamn it! They should totally pick some bands that the crowd is gonna enjoy, something that's similar to what the headline is all about, something that's not there for the mere purpose of boring the shit out of people so that they can spend some money on beer to numb the pain of waiting.
So yeah. I don't know if all I said makes sense but whatever.
I'll post pictures of me with the Dev if I think aboot it.

Peace, deep peace !

I was there and it was awesome! Dev has so much energy on stage it's unreal! Some of my friends that came to the show aren't really fans of Dev but they just came because of his showman skills, so that says a lot.
