Initial thoughts:
Very good gig. Excellent. But the perfectionist in me agrees with others.... Ki was somewhat noticeably better sound-wise and audience wise despite the heat.
I don't know whether it was the extra 3rd guitarist or just having things cranked too loud, to much gain or what, but the quality of sound dropped as a result which was a little bit of a shame. It became too loud, overblown and bassy, guitars and vox were getting somewhat burried..... where as Ki was right on the money sound wise to me. Still it didn't detract too much and sounded much better when I moved to the back.
Watching the ziltoid intro with him dancing to badger badger and what knot was bloody halarious.

Agreed. As it's 2011, all major gigs should have sloping audience area like a mini coliseum or just make all the taller people stand at the back. I felt a bit sorry for the person in wheel chair in front of me who could probably see absolutely nothing. They should really limit the number of people to such gigs in future, I'd much rather pay more with less people.
Don't tell too many people but, from the merch desk at the back you get a pretty good view of everyone on stage, and for addicted at least it sounded better at back

Agreed

Anneke sang her beautiful guts out and hit all the right notes all the time from what I could hear. When she sang that rainbow bit in Pixillate it was heavenly ! Sorta brought a tear to me eye, which isn't easy
