Kick ass! Leaving Lincoln in a couple hours! My first time seeing Devin. I've been waiting for this night for a while! Is there a best practice for getting a chance to say hi/get something signed by him? Think he'd be pissed if I took a Vai Sex & Religion tour program?

What seems to work for people is to just hang around for a bit after the show, usually Dev's nice enough to come out, chat and sign things (which are not gross, so your Vai tour program will be fine). Have fun!

What seems to work for people is to just hang around for a bit after the show, usually Dev's nice enough to come out, chat and sign things (which are not gross, so your Vai tour program will be fine). Have fun!

It can take a while sometimes for Dev to come out. In San Francisco, Katatonia headlined and Dev didn't come outside until a two hours after they ended, so be prepared. It isn't always that long of a wait, but sometimes he's busy. However, at some headlining gigs he comes right out onto the floor immediately after the show.

HA! I knew he was going to fire up Seventh Wave again. Back in London, when getting interviewed at the By A Thread screening, the reporter or whoever it was asked me if I had any other thoughts for Devin. Once I stopped praising Devin's genius, I specifically requested Seventh Wave for the Sep. 16 date in St. Paul.

I am so fired up right now.
