Awesome gig!! Awesome venue.

I have a stab at the set list but my memory is shit (can't remember the order either!)

Truth
Regulator
Planet of the apes
Deadhead
Super crush
Kingdom
Juular
Life
By your command
Ocean machine
Bend it like bender

Had a blast. I was the least looking metal person there. Haha.

Ok sleep. Work. Boring. Wahhh.

That's almost right, this is how I remember it:
Truth
Regulator
Planet of the Apes
Deadhead
Supercrush!
Kingdom
Juular
By Your Command
Life
Vampira
Seventh Wave
Bend It Like Bender

I could be wrong, too.

OK, let the bullshit begin:

It was a great show, and I got a cool shirt from the merch stands - one of the purple-tinged DTP shirts with Devy screaming on the front. I wanted a farting Ziltoid Riding the Waves shirt, but they sold out of my size before I got to the stand in time, and the next size wasn't big enough. Pleh. Doesn't matter, I like my choice.

Meshuggah had a pretty decent set, and they played a song from Koloss, Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion, which pretty much sums up my experience in the front pit. Never before have I been in a crowd that truly felt like it was a meat grinder. Especially during New Millennium Cyanide Christ. Good performance that left me dehydrated.

Then comes Devin. Was happy to see the Photoshop slideshow (even happier to see my Ziltoid Balls picture), the Meatball video, and a bunch of other random clips that Dev played with Ziltoid until the show started. I wanted to bring a spatula into the show just to see how Dev would react. Of course I left my flat this morning completely forgetting to do so. I settled for shouting "SPATULA!" like a dickhead instead, which Dev just brushed off before asserting himself by talking over the crowd. The set was awesome, Dev was awesome, and pretty much the only part that left me sad was not having one of those green wristbands which got a few people up on stage. I don't even know how you could have got one. Was it for people who got in early, did they pay for them? Never mind, that crap aside at least I got to be up front, and it was good. Can't wait for next year.

Did I type ocean machine?? Haha. I was a little excited last night and of course meant to type Seventh Wave.

That Meshugga crowd was certainly crammed in. Scary looking bunch of fuckers, well at least the group in front of me were! Although not the hugest fan I thought they sounded amazing in the venue. Spent most of my time at the back where it was slightly elevated (the joys of being a short ass) and enjoyed watching the guys at the front go mental. I was really pleased to see most of the people around me well versed with Dev's material. Everyone was singing along and having a good time. Was interesting to see dev do about 900 guitar changes....
