I listened to this album while puking my guts out after a party last night, and you know what? Puking has NEVER been more enjoyable.

EDIT: I am gonna try to send a suggestion to local radio stations to play some of this shit, namely supercrush!

Quoted for great justice.

Really liking the positive vibe, which is odd, because I'm one of those people who is usually deciding if a knife or cyanide is more fun.

When Ki first leaked, I had the next day off and I listened to it first thing in the morning when my emotions are all bare and raw. I cried tears of joy at the sound of "Terminal". Same thing happened this morning with Supercrush....it was like, so nostalgic...I couldn't help it. It stirred up so many emotions from the days when I first heard Ocean Machine (98), and then Infinity came out not too long after...how new it all was to me!! I think of my friends, and the times we had. I really needed to cry...and I am glad it was for a good reason!!

Thank you so much Devin. This album is perfect. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out on the top of my list.....

Whoa guys somehow I missed this forum sorry. Since I basically wrote a review in the other thread here goes:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hmm, well I found BiLB to be your worst song ever, but whatever it had to be something at some point, although this might be the first one of yours I didn't enjoy at all. Ih Ah*[1] was another one I wasn't too hot on. Although both of those I expected to feel that way about. The Way Home and Awake actually dissapointed me, quite a bit, but I pretty much loved all of the rest,*[2] and only expected to love Addicted and Hyperdrive, so total sum enjoyment was slightly above expectations. The biggest surprises I think was quite how much I loved new Hyperdrive*[3], and the fact that I probably digged Anneke's vocals on this album more than Devins. And hey, since instead of a collection of songs I like, as I expected, it's 6 songs I love and 4 songs I don't really care for, I can even just skip the 4 songs I mentioned some of the time and turn the album into a 30 minute orgasm.

[1]Although those soprano vocals prove once and for all that Devin has the ability to transform into a woman at will, so it does serve one very important purpose.

[2]Although I think I might've enjoyed a shorter Supercrush more, it sort of sounded, um, cluttered but also repetative by the end? And I think Resolve could've kept up the schizphrenic (synth?) riffs that was cool

[3]I mean seriously, one of my favourite games is Iji, including one of my favourite soundtracks, although the stage 1/6 song was a bit dull for blowing stuff up so I changed it to Hyperdrive before. With this new version, I've replaced half the game with Hyperdrive, jeeze.

Alright I've been praising by omission with Addicted and that's not very clear so here is every specific thing I liked:
I loved the watery synth in Addicted, and the crazy solo. The general area around SAY WHAT? was the best part though.
Universe in a Ball has some nice irregular song structure and glitch vocals, as well as a decent riff yaaay.
Supercrush had my favourite vocals on the album, or at least my favourite Devin vocals on the chorus.
Hyperdrive was already amazing, and now it has better vocals, better guitar tone, much better drums, all that's obvious.
I fken loved the schizophrenic riffs in Resolve, and it probably had my second favourite Dev vocals all album.
Numbered has an awesome riff, and Anneke's vocals are very pretty on this one.

Hyperviolence wrote:"The Way Home" is probably my favorite song on here, I'm surprised to see that one not getting much love.

His vocals on the final chorus are fucking mindblowing.
