Trainfire

How in the world we gonna make everything go away?
How in the world we gonna make everything in time?
Train burning, all night burning,
Trainfire up and down the line.

How in the world we gonna make everything go away?
How in the world we gonna make everything in time?
Train burning, all night burning,
Trainfire up and down the line.

Sex sees seventeen year old,
Moving up and down the pole.
She don't tell me what I need to know,
So the train burns, all night burns,
Trainfire up and down the line.

How in the world we gonna make everything go away?
How in the world we gonna make everything on time?
Train burning, all night burning,
Trainfire...
Trainfire up and down the line, YEAH!!!

Sex sees seventeen year old,
Moving up and down the pole.
She don't tell me what I need to know,
Train it burns, one of a kind,
Straight fury.
Trainfire up and down the line!

You called my name,
Left on a weary road beyond your way.
We are the other colors of your name...

Go...

Interesting. Ever read any Laura Knight-Jadczyk? She discusses how, well, let's say "certain races" garner their nutrition by bathing in vats filled with human blood.

Is that what you're alluding to Dev?

He's warning people about Value Added Tax. Obviously.

I thought he said beware the fat people initially.

Also, Ain't never gonna win is like prog-porno music.

The part on the track ki when that acoustic guitar begins at around 30 secs sounds like sex, my favourite bit so far after a couple of listens I must say..... makes me smile everytime. Good job devin me and all my mates are buying this, truly exceptional album, its so damn mellow and I think this is what we need for music at the moment, im so used to heavy stuff and I love it but this is a crazy, but very refreshing change. That said, Ki is heavy as hell in many parts, and can I hear the drumkit from hell in use once again on the track Ki when it all builds or is Duris having an eppy? Either way I love the album, the production is amazing and as always im discovering new elements with each listen. Also, listen to Quiet Riot and at 59 seconds you can hear a weird blip in the sound, like a miniscule part of a vocal take left in there. You have to concentrate to hear it. Is that due to a crappy leak or slight mistake on the record? Either way its cool, your human after all Dev! I think....

The real question for me is: what are those bizarre noises at the end of "Gato"? You know the ones. I'd love to know what that is. Feedback? Pitch shift? Vocoder? Weird details like that are my favourite part of Devin's stuff.

By your friend eh? Thats awesome, which friend is that, someone from armoury perhaps or elsewhere? Loving the overall sound man, very very crisp yet organic

Yeah, love those bizarre voices and the comment "What are those things?" (If Im hearing it correctly) at the end of Gato.

BTW. Dev, this album is good, very, very good. You are an inspiration.

Hah how could you hear that it's just a barely noticable tiny noise.

I think it's "one more of those, please".

Haha I know man, i just kinda zoned out and put the album on and was all relaxed then i heard it. Its cos my headphones are absolutedly amazing, a decent pair of mixing ones with decent bass response, yet they are very very dynamic, awesome set of cans, listen to the album in headphones its a whole different experience.... decent headphones of course.

Lol its all cool Dev if quiet riot was mixed and produced by your friend..... then that must be that little blips cos of him right and not you?

I like hearing things like that in music, gives even the biggest of albums/productions a little flair and character, and reminds us that even accomplished artists are not 'perfect' so to speak. Generally awesome album though Dev, i'll say it again :P ... 'words are useful weapons!.... say it again and again and agaaain!' Bonus points who can get the song hehe
