Hey guys!! (I'm french so excuse my english )

I don't know if I post in the right place, but i'm working on the solo shown by Dev in ZTO Special Edition (Gear Demonstration).
I need a preamp/processor that makes the echos (all I have is a Zoom g2.1u Delay that I can't stand anymore )
I have heard about the Boss RE-20 Space Echo or a GX-700...
If anyone know how to get some devin's echos without breaking the bank, please tell me

Any delay should work fine, as long as the feedback is really high and the delay time is slow.

Yes! Thanks for your answer. I've just seen that the feedback is an important setting. Unfortunately, I think the delay I'm using doesn't suffice to get this "cristal echo".
It's the reason why I was looking for an other pedal or preamp...
But first I'm going to take a good look at this feedback

If you are willing to splurge, get an Eventide Timefactor and Modfactor.
Use the above settings on the Timefactor, and use the undulator setting on the Modfactor.

It's exactly what Dev uses now, but they are both rather expensive.

I didn't know Eventide. It's something like those pedals I need, even if they're a bit expensive...
I'll look if there are similars between 100-250 €.

I think you should try what mrbean667 said : a Delay with a lot of feedback. I tried this with the following presets :

Delay with 50 ms (I tried with 10 ms for a reverb effect, but it didn't sounds excellent)
90% Feedback
90% for the global effect

I haven't got any Gt-8, but the result I have with my g2.1u comes close to what I was expecting...

Also something which works really well to get a swirly echo is to put a chorus on the wet signal. It makes the echo all psychedelic while leaving the original guitar unaffected.
