As you may remember, Dev had two other titles for ZTO. The Puppet was one of them, and that one fit in nicely. Ziltoid was indeed, a puppet. But then, there was "The Mighty Masturbator". Now that we've all heard the album, does that title still seem appropriate. I cant recall any masturbating references (besides it being Dev's solo project). Do you think maybe the entire concept of the album changed? It wouldn't be that unlikely. Think where Ziltoid started. A simple puppet show with a theme song.

I think "The Mighty Masturbator" is sort of a poke at the way Ziltoid would play his guitar (example: solo in "Ziltoidia Attaxx!!!"), and sort of give a commentary for what the guitar solo has become for certain bands and guitarists. At least that'd be what it seems like it is based upon, considering what Dev has said in past interviews that I've seen/heard and such.

I dont think that title has anything to do with the actual project, just a tentative title kinda thing.

Maybe something to do with Ziltoids ego too? It's all him and anyone who's in his way get's the Planet smasher..

Of course it's appropriate.
"ALL I WANT TO BE IS THE UUUUNIVERSE!"
I still like the title Ziltoid the Omniscient, though.

There is that one line line in By Your Command on the first two pages of the booklet:
Over and over and over and over and over and over again!
Touch it, take it ... make it your friend

I agree with the guys up there... it sounds like a great title for a record that deals with a self-centered alien...
now the greys would get another meaning... hummm...
