I'm reviewing here now (again, actually). I had to have a talk with this kid. He's posted four 10/10 reviews in four days, and he doesn't mention a single song in either review. That's ridiculous. He hasn't replied to me yet; hope he's not mad. I was nice, but someone had to say something. His reviews read like paraphrased press releases. Not cool. But hey...it's a perfect score for Devin! Whoohoo!

Kerrang! comes out every week. In order for them to stay in business, they have to pander to what's "hot" at the moment. I'm sure right now with all the emo crap out there the magazine sucks. But if power metal becomes the "it" style, the content of the magazine would change. It's the only logical way it could survive putting out a copy each week.

And let's be honest, it's a quality magazine, regardless of whether or not you like its content. The problem right now is that Devin doesn't look like this:

Thus a bad score.

true point eyesore but one 100 word review wouldn't have alienated the reader base so much as for it to be worth not making it fair..... if that actually made any sense :?

Kerrang have never been Dev fans - ever since the Vai days.

Yeah, but who's reviewing the album? A fan of metal? Or a fan of emo pop punk?
