Well, I don't think he even has a one favourite above all others. But he has said that from the last album Gato and Ki were his favourites. Also, with AE tracks, he has said that "Away" is his favourite almost every time. This was years ago though.

Don't know any others.

He has good reason to like it, it's my favourite by a longshot.

Amazing. You and I think so much alike....but, add Soul Driven to Infinity, and replace Pixillate with Triumph.

Hmm, same here for me, Dan. Dev's list encompasses all of my favourite songs off each album mentioned with the addition of a couple more here and there. I love them all but some I can just play over and over and over again to the exclusion of all others. I wonder if perhaps the fact that those songs are Dev's favourites helps them resonate a little more with (some of) us - like subconsciously they were a little notch above the others or something.

Well you know, sometimes you get so into some songs, that others just don't compete. Thats the same on every record, and it's not that I totally dislike the others...

I have to say though, there's a lot of good ones on Addicted...(in my opinion)

And Deconstruction is actually not that 'song oriented' at all...

And the 4th album, 'rain-dinkhole' or whatever it's going to be, has a great little last song that quietly wraps up the project.

"Rain-Dinkhole" better be the official title.

Ahh, yes...getting 'so into some songs'...am there at the moment with "Almost Again", actually. Most of the SYL stuff I've heard is a little on the heavy side for me. No clue why but had the "Almost Again" chorus playing over and over in my head on the way home from work last night ...and then listened to the song a dozen times or so before going to bed. I really do like that song - pleasantly aggressive in the same sort of way that "Heaven Send" is - and wonder what else is in the same vein in the SYL catalogue. My experience is a little limited as I've only heard what is in the Chaos Yrs compilation. A big fan of all of the other stuff, I bought it to sort of test out SYL. So, if anyone has any suggestions for...er...more mellow SYL, that would be great. Thx.

Bit of a strange place to make such a post but uh... 'Two Weeks' is probably the most most mellow track SYL has, it's got a very creepy vibe to it in a way though, reminds me a bit of Pink Floyd stuff on 'The Wall'.

Since the boards are like a conversation, I didn't think it odd to say what I did. He'd made the comment about how some songs just get into your head and I just thought it amusing to see that this morning given the almost ear-worm (in a good way) nature of 'Almost Again' for me last night. It seemed as good a place as any to ask for suggestions for the same sort of ilk. Not sure why I feel the need to defend myself...the boards stray off topic WAY worse than my ? about SYL suggestions. Anyway. Thanks for the suggestion, though, and I will check it out.
